Festival of the Lost has arrived on the Community Hub!
Seasonal events no longer run in Destiny 2, so we're carrying on their legacy here, just like we did with Solstice of Legends. This time we've built something special for it: the brand new Event Hub, with missions to complete, Candy to collect, an Event Pass to climb and a Festival store to spend your hard-earned Event Tokens in.
Festival of the Lost runs from Tuesday 13th October at 17:00 UTC until Tuesday 3rd November at 17:00 UTC. Missions reset every day at 17:00 UTC.
This is a fan project, not an official Destiny event. No rewards are given in game: everything here is earned for your Community Hub profile.
The Event Hub is the home of everything Festival of the Lost. Sign in to see your missions, your currencies and your Event Pass rank, all in one place.
You hold 3 Repeatable Missions at a time. Complete one, claim it, and a fresh mission drops straight into its place, so you can keep going for as long as you like. A new set is dealt every day at reset, and anything you completed but forgot to claim is claimed for you.
Missions come in three rarities, and the rarer the mission, the bigger the reward. Every mission you complete raises your chance of being dealt a Legendary or an Exotic next, and you can see your odds on the Event Hub at any time.
| Rarity | Reward |
|---|---|
| Common | 1,000 Candy and 3 Event Tokens |
| Legendary | 3,000 Candy and 10 Event Tokens |
| Exotic | 10,000 Candy and 25 Event Tokens |
Not a fan of a mission you've been dealt? Spend a Reroll Chip to swap it for another of the same rarity. You can hold up to 3, and every Repeatable Mission you complete gives you another.
The new version of Solstice's Trials of Light. These are the Event Missions: the same for everyone, open for the whole event, and paying out big. Complete them using only Festival of the Lost weapons:
| Event Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Complete Solo Ops: Typhon Imperator using Festival weapons | 2,500 Candy and 5 Event Tokens |
| Complete Fireteam Ops: The Scarlet Keep, with your whole fireteam on Festival weapons | 5,000 Candy and 10 Event Tokens |
| Complete Pinnacle Ops: Kell's Fall, with your whole fireteam on Festival weapons | 10,000 Candy and 15 Event Tokens |
| Complete Pit of Heresy solo using Festival weapons | 15,000 Candy and 20 Event Tokens |
Complete all four to finish All Hallows and earn 10,000 Candy, 10 Event Tokens and the exclusive Soulkeeper emblem, banner, badge and Discord role.
Everything is tracked behind the scenes from your match history. Just play, then come back to the Event Hub to claim your rewards.
Candy is the heart of the Festival. It fills your Event Pass and decides your place on the leaderboard, and you earn it by:
Your Candy levels up the Event Pass, with 35 ranks of rewards to claim. Along the way you'll unlock Event Tokens, six Festival emblem and banner sets (Hollow Sleep, Eye of Midnight, Lost at Sea, Dark Orbit, Deep in the Woods and Hallowed Coronation) and every tier of the Candy Collector badge.
For the truly dedicated, the last five ranks are Prestige ranks, from 500,000 Candy up to 2,500,000, with the Mountain of Candy emblems and banners and the Candy Master badge waiting at the very top.
Missions and pass ranks pay out Event Tokens, which you can spend in the Festival of the Lost Store, right from the Event Hub. Hold to buy, just like in game.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Bungie Festival of the Lost emblems and banners | 15 Event Tokens each |
| Custom Festival of the Lost emblems and banners | 30 Event Tokens each |
| Ghoulish, Hallowed and Reaper badges | 50 Event Tokens each |
| Festival of the Lost Token badge | 250 Event Tokens |
| 1,000 Candy | 15 Event Tokens, as often as you like |
Each emblem, banner and badge can be bought once. Once you've collected the lot, converting your spare tokens into Candy is another way to climb the leaderboard.
Event Tokens are for this Festival only, and the store closes when the event ends.
Every piece of Candy you collect counts towards the community total, and the biggest collectors earn exclusive badges for their place on the leaderboard.
