Terms of Service

These terms cover using D2CommunityHub: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and where you stand if something goes wrong. By using the site or signing in, you are agreeing to them.

Using the site

You can read almost everything here without an account. Signing in is only needed for the parts that are about you: your profile, your progress, and anything you apply for.

You need to be old enough to hold a Bungie account under Bungie's own terms. If you are not, please do not sign in.

Your account

You sign in with Bungie, and you can optionally link Discord and Patreon. We never see your password for any of those services.

• Keep your linked accounts secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• One person, one account. Do not create additional accounts to get around a decision we have made.
• You can unlink Discord or Patreon at any time from your Account page, and you can ask us to delete your account entirely.
• Unlinking Discord also removes any Discord roles that link had given you.

How to behave here

This is a community space. The short version is: do not be the reason someone else stops enjoying it.

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeting individuals.
• No impersonating other players, our team, or Bungie staff.
• Do not upload or write anything you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape wholesale, or find your way into parts of the site that are not yours.
• Do not falsify progress or try to claim rewards you have not earned.

We can remove content, revoke rewards, or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it is a genuine misunderstanding we would far rather talk to you first.

Things you write and upload

Your profile text, applications and anything else you submit stay yours. By posting them here you give us permission to display them on the site and, where it is clearly part of the feature, to share them onward - a Creator Program application, for example, is read by our team and may be discussed internally.

Anything you make public on your profile is public. Treat it that way.

Badges, emblems and other rewards

Rewards on this site are cosmetic. They exist here, on this site and in our Discord, and nowhere else.

• They have no monetary value, cannot be bought or sold, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• They are not Destiny items and have no effect in the game.
• Some rewards are held only while something remains true - while you are a member of the Creator Program, or while a Patreon pledge is active - and are removed when that ends.
• We may retire, change or re-issue a reward, and we may correct one that was granted by mistake.

The Creator Program

The Creator Program recognises creators who contribute to the Destiny community. Anyone can apply, and applying is free.

• Acceptance is at our discretion. We look at passion, creativity and the positive impact you have, not your follower count, and we are not able to explain every individual decision.
• Applying does not guarantee a place, and there is no fixed number of places.
• Members receive the rewards listed on the Creator Program page for as long as they are members. Those rewards are removed if membership ends.
• We may end someone's membership if they break these terms or act in a way that harms the community. We may also end the program itself, with notice on the site.
• Details you give us on the form - your name, email, Discord and links - are used to review your application and to contact you about it.

Patreon

If you support us on Patreon, Patreon handles the payment and your subscription entirely - we never see your card details. Supporter rewards on this site are cosmetic, and they are held while your pledge is active. Refunds and cancellations are between you and Patreon under their terms.

Destiny data on this site

Your Destiny activity is public information published by Bungie, and we read it from Bungie's own service. We do our best to present it accurately, but it can be delayed, incomplete, or affected by changes at Bungie's end. Nothing here is authoritative - Bungie's own systems always are.

Availability, and what we do not promise

This site is run by volunteers and provided as-is. We do not promise it will always be available, always be correct, or keep any particular feature forever. We may change or remove features, and we may take the site down for maintenance.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site, from it being unavailable, or from anything on it being wrong. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If your account ends, any rewards attached to it end with it.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page, and significant changes will be announced on the site or in our Discord. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
