ARMS WEEK COMING SOON

Previously we mentioned we'd run some week long events between our big main events like Solstice of Legends and Festival of the Lost.

The first of our week long events is Arms Week! The way we run Arms Week is slightly different to how Bungie ran it. Instead of focusing on a weapon type, we will be focusing on foundries. The first featured foundry is...

BLACK ARMORY ARMS WEEK!

We are currently in the process of preparing a selection of challenges and rewards for you to complete during Arms Week, all focused around using Black Armory weapons.

As a reminder, you can earn these from running Arena Ops, so make sure you farm some up ready for Arms Week, which we're targeting for release on Tuesday 15th September.

Below we will cover the challenges that will be featured.

PERSONAL CHALLENGES

Complete "Solo Ops: Creation" using only Black Armory weapons
Complete "Fireteam Ops: The Glassway" while your fireteam uses only Black Armory weapons
Complete "Pinnacle Ops: Zero Hour" while your fireteam uses only Black Armory weapons
Complete "Grasp of Avarice" while your fireteam uses only Black Armory weapons
Complete "Vault of Glass" while your fireteam uses only Black Armory weapons

Rewards for completing personal challenges will include emblems for your Community Hub profile, as well as a badge for completing all 5.

If you can't complete them all this time round, worry not, these will return alongside the featured challenges in the next Arms Week.

COMMUNITY CHALLENGES

Get 250,000 kills with Black Armory weapons as a community
Get 500,000 kills with Black Armory weapons as a community
Get 750,000 kills with Black Armory weapons as a community
Get 1,000,000 kills with Black Armory weapons as a community

We will be giving out emblems for your Community Hub profile to everyone who participates, so make sure you log in and get some kills with your Black Armory weapons.

Additionally, we will be giving out exclusive badges to those who contribute the most Black Armory weapon kills.

CHALLENGE PACKS WAVE 2

The second wave of Challenge Packs are in development and we will be previewing them soon. No confirmed date yet, but we can share which activities will be featured in the second wave of Challenge Packs:

Birthplace of the Vile
The Devil's Lair
Ghosts of the Deep

You'll notice we have a lot more PvE activities this time around. We wanted to get the PvP packs out early so that people could start working towards them ASAP due to the nature of how those packs are structured. This time we will have some more casual PvE Challenge Packs, but we will retain the high level of challenge in our raid and dungeon Challenge Packs.
