The End of Destiny as We Know It

As many of you have likely heard, Destiny 2 has received its final content update and gameplay hotfix. Additionally, Bungie has been impacted by large-scale layoffs affecting much of the team that worked on Destiny 2. This is deeply upsetting news, and we encourage everyone to show their support for the developers who helped shape the worlds we've all come to love.

To every developer who has worked on the Destiny franchise over the years: thank you. Your passion, creativity, and dedication have created something truly special, and your work has left a lasting impact on millions of players around the world.

Pathways Out of Darkness

As development on the Destiny franchise winds down and the TWID enters its final chapter, we'd like to offer the community something to carry that tradition forward: the Destiny 2 Community Hub and the Community TWID.

This is a passion project - a love letter to the Destiny 2 community that we value so dearly. We want to keep the conversation alive for as long as we can and continue celebrating the incredible creativity and passion of Guardians everywhere.

Beginning the week after Bungie's final TWID, we'll be publishing our own Community TWID every week, continuing the long-standing tradition. Here's what you can expect each week:

• Information about next week's featured activities.
• Weekly Art of the Week.
• Weekly Movie of the Week.
• Weekly Fashion of the Week.
• Information about community-organized tournaments, competitions & charity fundraisers.

Alongside these recurring features, each Community TWID will include a rotating Focused Category of the Week to spotlight different areas of community creativity. Some of the categories we're planning include are Build of the Week, Music of the Week, and Guide/Infographic of the Week, with more to come in the future.

To give everyone plenty of time to prepare, we'll always announce the next three focused categories in advance.

How to Make Your Submissions

If you'd like to submit artwork, videos, or fashion for our weekly showcases, keep an eye on the Community Hub X/Twitter account for our weekly submission posts.

You can either reply directly to the submission thread or create your own post using the relevant hashtags:

• #DestinyAOTW for Art of the Week.
• #DestinyMOTW for Movie of the Week.

Submission details for our rotating focused categories will be shared as those weeks approach.

We will begin accepting submissions for AOTW & MOTW following the final official TWID.
